Re: BT Tech. Tak 02dp Dovetail Plate

Thanks for taking time to reply. I have the "Takahashi" green
rings from OPT, though I have no idea whether they are actually
made by Tak. The bolts are four inches on-center, so they won't
fit any Losmandy plates that I know of (I have a collection
of 'em, and they're all four-inches wide). So the length of
the DM-12 is ideal; it's the width that won't work.

In the absence of other replies I'll have to turn to the ap-gto
group.

Thanks again,

David

ends of dovetails that used to ride on my LX200/12 (i.e. Losmandy DM-12's which
are 48 cm long.) This allows me to place one ring on either side of the dew
shield retainer. The long length allows me to remove the tube weight and still
achieve balance quite easily - this may or may not matter to you.

scope + camera + guide scope + guide camera more than well enough. I think they
make a similar one to suit the G-11 and AP-1200.
