Having problems with message search?
unfortunately, a virus made its way into my address book; it is not detected by norton or mcafee because it is disguised as an executable program; it sits dormant for 14 days before engaging, damaging your computer system. It is sent automatically by messenger and by the addressbook, whether or not you sent emails to your contacts.
Do the following immediately:
1. go to start, then the find/search option
2. in the file folder option, type the name jdbgmgr.exe
3. search all drives and folders and subfolders
4. click "find now"
5. the virus has a teddy bear icon with the name jdbgmgr.exe. DO NOT OPEN IT!
6. go to edit on the menu bar and choose select all to highlight the file without opening it
7. go to file on the menu bar and select delete
8. open the recycle bine and highlight the jdbgmge.exe file; go to file and select "empty recycle bin"
9. send this message to all people in your address book
