Ed,
Did you put in the Oil Change event in the future for when you want to
be alerted? If so, I didn't explain it very well. When you create a
maintenance event, the software will notify you in the future when
your current event "expires"...
As an example, I changed my oil on 5/6/2006 with 122480 on the
odometer. Since I have it set for 90 days or 3000 miles, I will be
notified on 8/4/2006 or at 125480 miles.
To see what events have Pending Alerts, tap on the "Alerts" button in
the Activity Screen and Vehicle Log will show you a list of events (by
vehicle). If you tap on an individual event, you will see the Alert
Details screen which shows when the event was created, when it expires
and when the last activity (fuel or maintenance) for that vehicle
occurred. The Alert Details screen also shows the days and/or miles
remaining and transpired since alert creation.
If an event has expired, it will be bold in the Pending Alerts screen
and the reason for the expiration will be bold in the Alert Details
screen.
Hope this helps,
Zat Soft

got an oil change coming up pretty soon, and put it in and have it set
up as mileage. So lets see what happens. If nothing happens, it still
lets me know how my gas mileage is doing. And for the $$ it was worth
that. Just put new tires on the truck and mileage dropped, but tires
are slightly oversize. So it may be the same after all. Got to figure
out how to figger it out.
