The proud owner of a new 7mp TZ3. The 10x optical zoom is fantastic.
In our previous Sony camera, we only had a maximum 3x zoom - a standard feature in digital cameras. Giving a camera a stunning 10x optical zoom really makes all the difference.
For starters, have a look at the moon on Flickr at my stream - http://www.flickr.com/photos/fuchsiashock/. By the way, I just learned that the trick for snapping the moon is to set the Metering Mode on "Spot". Then you can avoid the light of the moon just blurring out the shot.
