You can automatically get your blog to post short summaries to your Twitter using Twitterfeed.
Twitterfeed can store multiple RSS feeds from anywhere of your choosing and will automatically post the titles and/or descriptions from your blog posts to multiple Twitter accounts at time intervals you specify.
You need an openid account to sign up for a Twitterfeed account.
