DO NOT USE PUBLISHER FOR WEBSITE!
Yes, I shouted that and if I were one who used HTML email it would be in
great big bold red letters.
Publisher is a desktop publishing program and creates absolutely horrible to
maintain websites. The successor to FrontPage is Expression Web. It uses web
standards and css to create sites that work in browsers other than IE 5-6.
You qualify for upgrade pricing to Expression Web v2 (on amazon.com for
$76.99) and possibly v3 (due out soon for $79). Heck, even using SharePoint
Designer (free) would be better than Publisher.
Under the tutorials section of the site in my signature there is a "Basic
Website" tutorial that was written with FrontPage users in mind. Download
the asset files and work along with it to learn how to make your site work
using web standards.

Hello everyone. I'm melissa, and I'm building a (basic) website for my
business, and I'm having some problems.
In the past (4 or 5 years ago) I used Microsoft Front Page 2003 to design a
website, I used FTP to upload it to The New Push, and *tadaa* I had a great,
working website. It was easy.
Now, I'm trying to build a basic informative website about my business,
nothing complicated- just text, pictures, and links. And I'm trying to use
Microsoft Publisher to do it, and the web host I'm using is
dynalinkwebsolutions.com.
