Below I think is one of the better essays on Hegel from a Marxist perspective
and a must read I think for those interested in that kind of shit.


I like the following quote I think re the WSM's role as `educating' or raising
the consciousness of the working class;



"Men made, and had to make, history unconsciously so long as the motor forces of
historical development operated behind their backs and independently of their
consciousness. Once these forces have been discovered, once the laws of their
actions have been studied, men will be in a position to take them into their own
hands and subordinate them to their own rational powers."
