This group is for the open and lively discussion of aspects of operation, enhancements, modifications, fixes and repairs of the Meade LXD55 and the new LXD75 Telescope family - both mounts and OTA's. Discussions of other scopes and mounts are also welcome. Spam will not be tolerated and while not moderated, content will be monitored. Thanks for joining... please feel free to contribute and to share your experiences - both good and bad.

In an effort to prevent the web spammers from invading the group, request for membership will be moderated. Once a member, moderation will not apply.

There are not a lot of rules and regulations with these exceptions: No blanket condemnation of manufacturers, dealers, products, other groups, individuals or services. Reports of problems are welcome in an effort to affect a fix. The goal here is to make the hobby easier and to guide "newbies" and experienced amateurs to the solution.

If you are a member and have something "For Sale" or "Wanted", I will have folders set up to accommodate those items. When you post a simple text file to the folder, it will be announced to the group.

No one will be moderated or banned without first a warning. I am a proponent of free speech but don't think it is prudent to yell "Fire" in a crowded theater - I think you all get the message.

Hopefully, we will try to have something for everyone!
