If Fitzpatrick's theory is right then all binary stars of the same mass must have opposite spins from each other with their closest sides going in the same direction (like gears meshing and not clashing). None of the other stars, according to Fizpatrick's hypothesis, will
be spinning this way with its closest neighbor star.
If I was an astronomer, with the very latest spectrographic equipment, then I would most certainly be checking this out now.
