Just recently I've worked out where Judy/Paul took their Photo's and
the workers cottage where Paul spoke to a gentleman residing there.
It is the property next door(the sand mines) West of what's left of
the Grange today.
The photo was taken looking to the West the main stumbling block or
mental block is the trees in the background appear to be along a
fence line whereas in the AP 66 there isn't a fence ignore the 2D
effect of the VUFOR photo.
Just a couple of days ago I found a website where George (Hello
George) has had an impression of a circle or part there of placed in
the VUFORs photo, of how George remembers it from slides/photos he
saw of the circle/s whilst he was a member of VUFORs.(correct me if
I'm wrong George)
It has always had me perplexed at the way Judy describe them as
a "couple of circular patches" and said the wind might have caused
them (D/Journal) and Mr Shepherd with his pad/s and many other
witnesses when you asked them which way the grass was flattened they
would say just flattened you also notice they don't mention scorching
or burnt either (others have.)
The witnesses who claim that the craft landed on the oval also have a
problem when you ask them to describe the circle they mention tall
grass flattened over. (the grass was kept short/mowed on the school
property)
I'm suggesting that with time a witness remembers the school ground,
the event/circle/s etc and blends them together or knows the Grange
well and blends the event to a particular memory of the grange or
works at the southeast part of the old Grange and has the circles at
the back of his works.
It is only food for thought I'm suggesting that the getting there as
in my case as well was not important and so forgotten, filled in with
a montage of images from those times from our memories.
You have the images of the event and later in time you ask yourself
now where exactly was it.(regarding Circle/s)
And I'm not saying that is the case for all witnesses.
Is this possible?
Damn nearly forgot the link

If George's memory of the photo is correct and I don't doubt it, then
Judy was correct in assuming the wind could have form them (wind
shear) or the kids that were there made them or the Farmer whom I
have spoken on two occasion said he did some work up at the top
paddock around that time and had equipment failure.
George's impression of the circle has that "bowl" effect whereas I
remember, counter rotating flattened grass, at the circumference a
sharp finish between the flattened grass and the standing grass.
Whatever did this didn't move on its axis.
Better go Cheers Les
