G'Day Gang.
Greetings Konrad.
George sorry for the confusion you did a sketch some time back of a
circle and caught the ambiance of the area at that time which was
also from your memory of a photo which was pretty good you also sent
me some coloured photo's of the pines "in the Grange" and they were
the totally wrong species. (From what I remember along the fence line)
Then came Judy's (VUfORs) photo (hope I've got that in order) and
those trees are right (type) also more than one species, just the
type I was looking for, the grass is right also and of course in a
paddock but I don't remember the cottage there was no houses around
the area, that is, visible from within the paddock we were in.
The impression of a close up of that circle from your memory from a
photo is NOT what we saw which is why I was asking what did Judy/Paul
think of them did they describe them in more detail during the slide
nights or is the D/Journal it a couple of patches.
When you and I first made contact you sent me a cropped picture of
the AP66 covering Marquis's property and part of the Grange and I
tried to work within that, then Shane produced a better AP66 of the
area and with research, speaking to Bill Marquis getting to know the
area I realized it wasn't possible it was more South/West.
With your permission I also sent it to Ken and we both agree it was
further South/West which your cropped photo didn't cover.
Hope I've covered everything.
I'm thinking of putting on the board a collection of facts (which can
be proven) to help whittle down the areas regarding the whereabouts
of circles and possible jog a few memories.
Cheers for now Les

the circle that you showed your sister, except the one near the
school rather than the one down in the other end of the paddock. In
the photo you could see the tree you hid behind while those blokes
tried to destroy that circle you were near.
