,SAPAM WET IRRIGATION TECHNOLOGY

This paper is dedicated to the POOREST OF THE POOR, where there is a shortage of irrigation water and resources. So that no child should go hungry to bed, and have to die because of MALNUTRITION If the goals of (UNO MDGs) are to be achieved, then provide a cheap irrigation technology. Wet irrigation saves 75 - 80% water against flood and other systems, and save upto 30 - 35 % against the best known Israeli Dip Irrigation. Most of irrigation systems, water is brought to the area of plants and fed for a specified time, thereby losing a huge quantity, due to evaporation through sun, wind and other factors. Wet Irrigation attach source of water and the plants suck constantly for 24 hours a day, as per their requirements. SAPAM WET IRRIGATON has two different wetting components.
1. The moisture or wetness is brought through waste of fibre, covered with thin plastic piping, up to the roots of the plants.
2. Mulch material is put around the plants. A fibre waste is put across the mulch and brought up to the plant’s roots or seeds. The Mulch is occasionally fed with water. As long as the mulch has moisture, the plants keep sucking water. During longer dry period, the water is sucked from mulch and through the Sapam Wet Irrigation System. The total water requirements of the plants is much less than any other irrigation systems.
