We're local and offer xDSL and have an excellent newsfeed. Give a call

Oh...

I would still watch out with cable - we have two customers who have both
xDSL with us and cable - day trader types - and they report that their cable
service is still incredibly flaky and customer support less than responsive.
I have no idea what the usenet situation is with TCI. I suppose I'm bound
to be a little biased since we're in the xDSL business though...
