Attention all Social Action groups in Whatcom County.

I am part of a group which is putting together a calendar for the year
2001, and would like a list of events your organization, committee or group
have on your calendar this year. Topics include human rights action
events such as conferences, forums, marches, on-going protests, etc, -- the
type of events where people make the difference in numbers, solidarity,
legislation, education concerning children, ethnicity, migrant workers,
gay/lesbian/bi-/transgender, environmental, animal, human rights.

Copies of this calendar will be available to groups so we can support each
other, spread the word and be on the same page.

We would like annual events for WHRTF, WHO, Lummi, Nooksack, Black Action
Network, Bridging Communities, race, Social Justice Committees, Rainbow
Coalition, BESSO, Jobs with Justice, WTO-related events -- you get the idea.

If possible, please email annual calendar events to me at
<swills@...> asap so we can get this put together relatively soon.
