kind of event.

PROJECTIONS FILM FESTIVAL - YEAR TWO

The Whatcom Film Association, in its efforts to support local and regional
filmmakers, announces the second year of the highly popular Projections
Film Festival. Although still in the planning phase, this year's festival
is expected to be an expanded version of last year's event which will
include a variety of film categories and awards.

The event will be nonjuried with a final round of films being selected for
their artistic merit and going on to the final competition. All film
entries will be viewed at various locations throughout the festival
including the Pickford Cinema. The event will culminate with an awards
ceremony and prizes will be awarded in each category. There will be a
general call for admissions this spring, film related events are being
planned for this summer and the actual festival will be held in early
November.

The Whatcom Film Association anticipates that this festival will continue
to grow into an exciting regional event that will have a greater attendance
from year to year. We would like to encourage your business or organization
to support the festival and we are offering several ways for you to do so.

Please take a moment to fill out the questionnaire below so we can better
gauge the expected level of participation from area businesses and
organizations. Simply fill it out by March 26th and call us at (360)
738-3024 and we'll pick it up from you or drop it by the Pickford Cinema at
1416 Cornwall Avenue.
