That does give me a comfort level.
I've never used any WYSIWYG editor , just used WS_FTP regularly for years
- with the same strong preference for it's simplicity and control by ME,
not some presuming-I'm-an-idiot stuff that M-slush puts on.
I recently changed from notepad to CuteHTML as my html editor, and I do
find it to be very easy to use, adding some neat tricks like
global-search-and-replace across multiple open files, and the
easy-insertion of code-blocks, set up as named-items.
