While I think that Wasatch Inc should inform and help you in the first
place (6 months service as far as I recall).

My version is the SoftRip 6.2.
In my version I do not see the menus of the Mimaki JV5 as shown in the
PDF. But a choice of Dual CMYK is available.
It might be different for you.
If you check several Printer Imaging Configurations you will notice that
the structure of menus and content is different so what is available for
the JV5 doesn't have to be available for the 9880.
The most recent Epson in my version is the 9800 and it has not a Dual
CMYK choice available in the Properties menu.
If the SoftRip 6.5 is more flexible and allows you to create Dual CMYK
driving then you still have to make physical changes on the 9880 carts
and load CMYK in the other half of the printer.
You might try the Epson 9400 driver of the SoftRip first and see whether
that will drive the 9880 before you change cart contents. It doesn't
have the Dual CMYK choice in the properties but the 9400 only knows a
Dual CMYK mode so they didn't think it was needed to emphasise that.

As written by me on the LL forum, a swap to a 9400 printer could have
been cheaper and with more chance to get it working.
