As you may have heard, movement is afoot to implement an edit button in
web browsers. A Firefox plug-in has been written, and a bunch of wikis
already generate the header tag telling the browser what URL to use to
initiate editing.

Hoping to catch a little publicity on the coattails of Firefox 3, it's
being announced today at noon on TechCrunch and other places. Of course
we're most interested in reaching developers - browser developers, and
developers of wikis and other edit-capable software - to get it
implemented more widely, and sort out any technical issue before a "1.0"
release. So, i'm mailing here to ask you to take a look, and
blog/wiki/del.icio.us/talk/e-mail/tweet about it if you like it. (Smoke
signals and telegrams also welcome.)
Life,
John
