The majority of people who experience problems with their personal
computers are obviously not aware of how and why these problems occur
and just want to get hold of a tool which can repair them without
questions. I think it is important that people understand what an
important component the registry is. Also why their computers become
slow and sometimes non functional when trying to open windows
applications. If I told you that the windows registry is like a
central database which holds all configuration information about the
hardware and software in your pc, you can understand why it can
easily be the core of any performance problems your pc will have.
It's quite obvious that the majority of people who have pc's will
install and remove software applications as well as hardware over
time which will result in the registry keys becoming erroneous due to
constant changes in information. When you uninstall software
applications you will find that some files related to that particular
application may still be scattered over your hard drive which result
in a slower computer and non functional programs. If you are advanced
and know about computers then you will be able to track these files
down and even edit the registry manually to remove problematic
entries. Unfortunately the average pc user is not equipped with this
knowledge and would therefore be advised to take the safer root and
make use of a registry cleaner which would automatically scan and fix
those problems without hassle....
