I have never tried it, but it could be interesting! If I designed front end optics to "look" at the scintillator, with a 2" depth of field, the view may look

Geo, yes it would be perfect for a LIXI intensifier. It certainly works well with my homemade intensifiers. Sure I will trade one for a chunk of your plastic

Les, have you ever tried a plastic scintillator in front of the intensifier? The ones I have are 1.5" thick and respond to alpha, beta, gamma and X-Ray. Geo
