Well, at least there is one thing to be thankful for and that is Xanthosoma
has not been affected to the extent of other crops. However, my experience
in the Pacific with Colocasia is that the leaves will be shredded, but
perhaps not, it's a stronger plant. Let's hope so.
Diversity of local food crops is so important in countries where there are
threats from natural disasters, hurricanes, torrential monsoons, droughts,
etc.
