RE: [YourGhostStories] Can someone help? Tired and exhausted from night happenings

I’ve experienced knocking before.  When I first moved into this flat, which is a very old big brick house renovated into 5 flats, a lot of strange stuff started happening. I used to get a lot of knocking.  I would often be woken by the sound of knocking, but there was no-one at the door, and I wasn’t sure if I’d dreamt it or not.  The strangest was a time I was writing an email about 9pm on a summer Sunday night, when I heard three knocks at my window that opens onto a narrow pathway that goes between this building and the building next door.  I thought it was odd as none of my friends come to my window, they always come to my front door.  I went to the window and looked out.  Didn’t seen anyone.  I no sooner sat back down at the computer, then three more knocks happened at the front door. For someone to get from the window to the front door that quick, they would’ve had to be moving mighty fast.  I got up and peered out the kitchen curtains, but, the sensor light there had not even come on.  Puzzled I sat back down to finish my email to an old friend in Canada, thinking it might have been the tenant upstairs knocking some food off a wooden spoon possibly, but there was no mistaking where the sounds were coming from.  THEN there was knocking inside, on the wall behind me.  This knock was like a musical salesman knock.  Da.da-da.da. da.  Quite a cheerful knock.  I slowly looked over my shoulder at that wall with inward horror.  This ‘thing’ was inside……..  I wasn’t sure what to do.  I thought it was odd the way the knock inside was on a brick wall rendered with cement and painted, but it sounded clearly like knocking on wood.  My solution was to keep my back covered, lol, and so I lay down on the couch, and pretended to read a book.   The knocking went on all around me for five hours.  At the end I could clearly hear the sound of a palm being slapped against the wall in frustration, because I wasn’t responding.  I figured it would give up and go sooner or later.  So I just continued to try, and pretend to, read.  Finally at about 2am it left.  I didn’t want to engage it, in case this caused it to stay.  It felt designed to freak me out and I didn’t want to respond.  I certainly hadn’t invited this thing in!  It never came back, thank God, but when the strange things happening in this place came to a head once, I was forced to learn how to protect my place.  That put an end to it all.  I must have just been……wide open and a sitting duck.  That was the positive upshot, I learnt how to thoroughly protect myself and my place on a spiritual level.

Presences like to make themselves known to me, but my sensitivity doesn’t extend to being able to sense their thoughts, words or need in anyway.  The activity was full on when I moved into this flat, and it forced me to realize that this is not the first home I’ve experienced strange stuff in, and it’s not the homes or places, it’s more that I attract them for some reason, and they want to make themselves known to me, for some reason.  My sensitivity is increasing, I’m glad, but I feel that my home, is my home.  It’s my castle.  I’m the queen in my castle, lol.  I’m a very private person.  I like to feel ALONE in my home.  Not stared at or followed about, or bothered by strange stuff that proves I’m not alone.  So in my protection I set up clearly who can enter my home and who can’t.  The angels, my animals that have passed on, and one certain person are allowed free access, all else has to stay out.  I also set it up that anyone visiting me, has to leave their ‘junk’ outside the door.  Anything clinging to them is not allowed past the protective barrier I set up around my home.  I renew this protection frequently.  So.  I would recommend learning how to protect yourself and your home.  I know it can be really freaky when you are getting unexplained knocking and I feel for you.  It’s very disconcerting to know so thoroughly that you are NOT ALONE, in your own home.  If you would like to know how exactly I protect my space, email me privately and I’ll discuss it with you further, but I’m sure many in this group would have many good ideas, too, if you asked.

Love and hugs

Melody

……………………………..

Hi all, I just joined, and need some feed back, please.  (This turned into a long first post, sorry).

My fiance's dad was killed in an accident in June of this year.  We're now living in the house that was his before he passed.  I have felt his presence (as I have felt the presence of other loved one's who have passed in the past, this doesn't scare me) and he doesn't feel angry or troubled.  There was another presence (more than one actually, they felt like a group of people I couldn't see, when we first came here to go thru his things).   They would stare and the hair would stand up on your body and head.  They were in one bedroom but you could feel them staring from down the hall.  My fiance and I were in his dad's bedroom one day (next to that bedroom) going thru some papers and heard one knock on the wall between the bedrooms.   I didn't acknowledge the knock because I didn't recongnize the presence.  I eventually commanded them to leave and so far I think they have?  At least from the inside?

Right before we moved here I was sitting on the front deck of the home we were living in and saw a white mist, about 6 feet off the ground, go towards the wall of the house and I think into the house, into the room my fiance was in at the time.  I went in and looked around but didn't see anything.  That didn't feel ominous, though.  I don't mind the people I knew in life that come around, as I thought this may be his dad or something related to his dad, but I don't talk to those who I don't know, didn't know in life.  Too scary for me.

In this house another thing has happened besides the "staring eyes".  At night, twice now, there has been a knock at the back sliding glass door late at night.  It was 3 knocks "tap tap tap" "tap tap tap" "tap tap tap" in succession.  The first one was around midnight.  We wondered who would be at our back door that late and when we wanted to know who was there, they didn't answer.  At first I thought, kids playing jokes?  We put up motion detector lights after someone drove by, slowed down and said something out of their car window.  I thought surely that was the someone who had knocked and was just trying to irritate us.  Last night the knock happened again.  This time it was three loud knocks "knock knock knock".  My fiance didn't hear this one, he was in bed with the tv on.  He did hear the first one (the tap tap tap).  I immediately dialed 911, got the protection we have out of the drawer while telling my fiance what had happened.  He looked out back and the motion light had not come on.  Did they figure out they we have motion lights and reached around from the side of the house that has no motion light and knocked as to somehow not trip it?  Or is it something that is not human?  I wish I knew.  I was up all night for a week after the first incident sleeping here and there during the day and was up all night last night with only several hours sleep today.

Another thing I find odd is that our dog didn't bark either time and she usually barks at anyone at the door, whether she knows them or not.  She was on the couch beside me last night when whoever or whatever knocked.  When reading on the net last night I also read about a smell of rotten eggs in relation to entities.   Last week I told my fiance I smelled that odor in the bedroom that use to be his dad's.  I asked him if he knew what it could be, I was thinking septic tank?  He was thinking possible car battery in the basement garage, he's a mechanic and he said when something happens to them they can sometimes smell like rotten eggs.  The batteries in the cars were fine.

Anyone experienced knocks from outside?  What can I do?   If we get the other motion detector and it still doesn't trip and come on if there is another knock, can we believe it is not human?  I'm a little freaked out about it after reading the superstitions (or not superstitions?) about the 3 knocks.

Thanks

Desa
