Well, everything is better than nothing.

My wishlist would have been ordered this way:

1. input locales
2. spellchecker
3. GUI translation
4. More advanced language tools (grammar checker, thesaurus, translation, etc)

Also, GUI translation should be included for all users, so that each user can go to a control panel and make a priority list of what languages s/he wants to see on the desktop (like it is on Mac). Thereby the discussion known from Eastern Africa ("whether Swahili is used or not") will not turn up.

Keyboards were not standardised last time I looked into Nigeria, I hope for a better situation now. In any case, work on writing tools should have high priority, and result in programs able to work on both MS office Open Office, and other programs and platforms.
