Hello,
if you are an Actionscript 3.5 developer and are looking for a job,
please send me your resume. @ mpoznecki at broadramp dot com
Thank you,
Michael
Well I figured if someone was looking for a flex project, they would
ping me to see how serious I was, as well as telling me how serious
they were. But no, that was just a comment not really a solicitation.

In particular, we're looking at building an "aritst's registry" for a regional fine artists website, similar to http://registry.whitecolumns.org/ where artists can join, add their contact information, about 5 thumbnails on their work, etc. The site would have an admin side to allow registered users to update their information, and to allow the site administrators to approve site content before it's posted on the front end. Is that type of work something you would feel comfortable doing? I know it's just a fly- by description of the site functionality. There would be graphic design files supplied...this would mostly be back-end programming work.

Hi everyone, Deb and John here. I'm using the example files out of the O'Reilly book, Dreamweaver MX 2004, The Missing Manual and trying to learn the dynamic aspects using ASP and the Access database they provided. Everything works as expected except 8 times out of 10 I get an error message when trying to view any asp page in the browser. it says that the access driver cannot start the database because it is already in use by "Admin". I don't know if this is a IIS server error, a connection string error, or it is an Access error. There is no password to the site or the database. Anyone know how to solve this one. The publisher/writer has no help on the subject nor does Microsoft IIS or Access. Anyone use ASP & Access. I may just switch to MySql & CF7... but the learning curve seems steeper.
!!%"commandLineInterface&all"%!! Thanks, John Walton
Hello all. I am in need of some help here at work. We need to create a
login and registration page so clients can view online training
modules. Once they view them they will be asked to fill out an
evaluation form. Also upon completion they will be rewarded a
certificate they can print out that has thier name and course taken.
Cookies are not the way we want to go.
We will be hosted on a windows .net server. ASP is the language.
Access database for now, we may run sqlserver in a few months.
Can anyone help? Or does anyone have any modules already created that
could be bought/traded. This is for a not-for-profit organization that
helps small business owners get financial counseling, tax help, ect.
Email me contact@...
Thanks

All,
To keep everyone up-to-date on website progress, I have integrated
George's design and moved away from the original path I started down
with the website administration. I have started a second framework for
the backbone of the site, but it is far from being finished. In the
meantime, george and I are going to work out style-sheet issues and I
will work to finish the rendering engine for the complete site.
Registration/Log-in features work on the site as it is now... however,
all data entries need to be done manually. I am working on the user
profile stuff and hope to have that complete early next week, after
which I will move on to the adding additional functionality for
posting items to the site. I am also going to add "galleon forums" for
the message board on the site and integrate that with the existing
site login.
Please provide comments/suggestions asap...
