Strength of Tax 2.0   Message List

I have run some test of Tax 2.0 against Nacre, and the results seem to
be that Tax wins most of the time. I have not run enough games to be
certain of the result.

I tried all the new strategies. However, many of the games were not
completed because Tax looped. I don't know if this is a known bug or
one that I have introduced.

(For those that does not know Tax abalone: It defines a "strategy" as a
combination of search function, evaluation, and a few other things).

The configuration was a 1 sec/move blitz game. Tax does not have time
limited play, so I just picked a search depth that used about the right
amount of time.

The depth for Tax was 6-8 ply, depending on strategy. The depth of
Nacre was about 4 ply.
