Hi, your add-on is very useful, thank you for all your work.
I suggest that you add the two unicode characters %u200f (RLM) and %u200e (LRM)
which are used to control the direction of text in bidirectional situations, to
the menus for Hebrew and Arabic (and any other language which may need them).
Thanks again,
Ron

Hello Aaron,
First of all, thanks for this GREAT abcTajpu! I'm using it daily, I'm
happy with it!
Just a question, as I'm juggling between Firefox, Seamonkey, Flock,
and NVU. Do you plan to adapt abcTajpu to any of these tools? (sorry,
no clue on the effort required, so I would easily understand if you
answer this is beyond your time...)

Absolutely correct, yes.

The Sami data is incorrectly displayed in my previous post.

Hi,
Below is a listing for five Scandinavian languages, including Sami as
spoken in Norway and Sweden.
Danish: æ ø å Æ Ø Å (the Tajpu Dansk listing is
incorrect)
Norwegian: æ ø å Æ Ø Å (the Tajpu Norsk listing is
incorrect)
Swedish: å ä ö Å Ä Ö (no changes needed; the Tajpu
Svenska listing is correct)
Sami or Saami (Norway and Sweden): á c d ´n Å‹
š t ž æ ø å ä Á C D ´N ÅŠ
Š T Ž Æ Ø Å Ä (Sami/Saami is non existent in
abcTajpu)
Icelandic: á ð é í ó ú ý þ æ ö Á
Ð É Í Ó Ú Ý Þ Æ Ö (in the Tajpu Islanda
listing the ð is missing; besides that, the name of the language
should be íslenska, not Islanda [;)] )
It would be great if you could integrate this in a future update.
Thanks!

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
Hi,
Ideally a native/fluent speaker could list the Unicode numbers of the
accented letters used in a language. Noting which are "regular" and
which are "rare", if there is such a distinction. Then on the next
abcTajpu update, the amendments would be included.
I'd of course be interested to know about Norwegian and Swedish, so
please feel free to elaborate, here in this list.
regards,
Aaron

Hi,
What can you/I/we do to get the correct/complete listing of special
characters for preset Norwegian and Swedish languages.
More generally, how can end users correct possibly incomplete listings
and bring them to your attention for being upgraded?
Thanks!
Reen
Hi,
I kept " to mean double acute, and : to mean umlaut.
So try a: for a-umlaut, that should work.

Great extension. However, your options list is almost too

Thanks for the encouragement. All language orthographies are
installed by default, but if you click on the extensions options
(under firefox.tools.extension) you can uncheck some of the boxes,
leaving only the languages you're interested in.
I'll try to add support for more languages, but in the meantime, one
could always just cut and paste from a free multilingual editor such

It's a nice and helpful tool if you've got to do with languages every
day like me, no question, but it'd be more helpful if the UI would be
in English. Mind you, not everyone can speak Esperanto ... I know
French though, so it's not *that* hard to guess what something means.
Still I'd appreciate if one could choose the interface languge, at
least choosing between Esperanto and English.
