I am trying to figure out different ways of using the postscript routime
%%postscript /shd {}!
Can it work for stretching out a notehead &/or do I need to use the ps
with a user - defined decoration?
My question comes from this thread;

Size of note heads in ABC
Changing size of the note-heads in abc... using abcedit . . . I wish
to stretch the heads on the right-to-left coordinate . . . without
altering the size of the up-and-down measurements. Is there an ABC
code which solves this easily, or do I have to open up in a font
editor . . . I am assuming it's some sort of postscript font?
I found one of Hudson Lacerdas' comments on user - defined
decorations. In this he reduces the overall size of individual notes.
%%postscript /shd{gsave T .6 dup scale 0 0 hd grestore}!
%%deco head-s 0 shd 0 0 0
