Description
A lightly moderated user group for users of Native Instruments software synthesizer Absynth. The focus is on production techniques, technical help, integration, and anything of use to those using Absynth. Topics of general interest to musicians and sound designers are tolerated. Complaints about the list or topics discussed on the list are not tolerated. If any take issue with topics presented on the list a private email should be sent to the moderator and moderation will occur off list. Posts highly critical of the list, or any individual poster will not be tolerated. Absynth artists use Absynth in all sorts of diverse ways, respect and consideration for these diverse methodologies and interests is encouraged. If subscribers become frustrated with off topic posts they are encouraged to email the moderator. Private emails moderating posters will be sent.
The focus will emphasize the use of Absynth:
a) Designing sounds with Absynth.
b) Assisting new users.
c) Trading and posting patches.
d) Absynth news and resources.
e) Technical questions.
f) User stories.
g) Feature comparisons with other synths *that do not turn into flame wars!*
h) Topics of general interest including (but not limited to) : production techniques, Native Instruments, Absynth compatibility, hardware controllers, artists releases, musicology, etc.
