Dear Dan,
I don't have any experience in connecting ANT and foresight, but what
I know from ANT is that it try to make the actors talk to talk for
themselves and from the pattern emerge, we can find some understanding
about the social (both human-material artifact) and make some generic
understanding used in foresight.
I recommended:
- Callon, Michel (1986). Some elements of a sociology of translation:
domestification of the scallops and the fishermen of St. Brieuc Bay.
- Bardini, Thierry (1994). "A Translation Analysis of the Green
Revolution in Bali", Science, Technology & Human Values, Sage.
to understand concept of translation beside Science in Action.
I hope it can help.
kind regards,
yuti
