The Adaptive Work-Centered User Interface Technology (ACUITy) project is a decision support application development environment and platform. By using flexible, extensible semantic (ontology-based) models of the human-computer interface, the user, and the work domain, ACUITy facilitates mixed initiative, collaborative-style user interfaces to the information resources needed to solve problems in open-ended domains such as logistics planning. Applications are built by extending domain-independent models to encompass a particular work domain.
ACUITy uses Semantic Technology and is built on top of Jena, an open-source Semantic Framework from HP Labs.
