Are Alternative Fuels the Answer to the Problem of Fossil Fuels?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #166 of 454 |

With the ever increasing price of gas and the concerns about the
effects that fossil fuels have on other matters such as the state of
the environment, it is about time the human race found an alternative
fuel option. These alternative fuel options are also necessary in order
to reduce America's dependence on crude oil. Other options are
currently being explored but these are some of the more popular options
that are currently in existence:
Biodiesel:
This is one of the most efficient, clean and cheapest fuel options
available for implementation. These fuels can be made from a variety of
things such as vegetable and soy bean oils, animal fats and recycled
restaurant grease too.
Pure biodiesel is a fuel that burns cleanly and gives off a lot less
pollutants than other forms of fuel. It also helps to reduce the high
levels of hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide and sulfates in the atmosphere.
Biodiesels achieve this feat by reducing the dependence people have on
the usual petroleum products....
