I currently run AmigaOS 4.1 and for legacy stuff I use 3.1. For me the
AmigaOS is still one of the best OSes I've ever had the pleasure to use and
some of the software on the Amiga is, in my opinion, better than equivalent
offerings I've seen on alternative platforms. I freely admit though that the
Amiga does lack in a lot of areas like a full modern web browser, but I am
confident that most of those gaps will close.
As for Windows, I find it very slow and cumbersome in comparison to AmigaOS
and that's comparing my quad-core 3.4GHz PC running Windows XP/Vista to my
'lowly' 800MHz Amiga running AmigaOS 4.
