Hi
my english isn't good anyway i try to write something

I think that it's the moment to creat branch of mediawiki in the african countries which  languages are represented in wikipedia.
i think that is the only way for her development. I can speak about senegal because it is the country which i know much.
i'm certain that the wolof wikipedia can be very develop if a big avertasing is do. there are lot of senegalese who study, write books in  wolof. In the university of dakar there are many professors and students who make studies, a lot of association which work for her divelopment.
look this site web for exemple:
http://www.alfanet.anafa.org/
http://www.osad-sn.com/index.php

if mediawiki senegal is officialy created,  mediawiki leaders have to go in senegal to talk whith these groups.  speak whith people, explain them what is mediawiki, what are his objectives.

i am sorry to say it, but, african languages will never develop in wikipedia   if a large campaign is not do.

thinks
