This position is responsible for the creation and execution of test scripts and cases using FitNesse. The position will require strong communication skills in presenting testing data to other team members. You will be required to develop quality assurance and testing strategies as well as document test results. Experience in the configuration, utilization and support of automated test tools is mandatory.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

1. Customer Service - Take the necessary steps to ensure our customers' needs are met to the maximum extent possible in an accurate and timely manner. Communicate with technical and non-technical people, engineers, managers, and customers. Maintain a close and strong working relationship with Information Services team members and leadership. Provide on-going support and maintenance of testing automation tools, including the development of technical documentations.

2. Quality Assurance - Pro-actively interact with all information services teams to develop and promote quality assurance strategies to improve overall IS quality assurance. Recommend new processes, software and/or systems to improve organization's information systems development effectiveness. Assess and monitor adherence to software change control; the business solutions framework, and other process standards. Identify and communicate when QA processes are not being adhered to or when insufficient quality conditions exist in a project or process.

3. Software Testing - Display a `test to break' attitude, and ability to take the point of view of the customer, a strong desire for quality, and an attention to detail. Create and train other employees how to create test scripts and test plans to enable streamlined application testing practices. When necessary, test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Ensure that internally developed software and vendor software is tested for defects, meeting end-user requirements. Work with testers, business owners, and information services teams to ensure that all problems are documented and resolved.
Analyze, recommend, implement, configure and administer automated testing tools targeted to enhance information services quality assurance practices. Support users with training and support of the use of testing automation products.

Requirements:

1-2 years experience utilizing FitNesse Collaboration Tool

Create, run, organize, annotate, and share Fit tests

Develop and document test scripts and cases using FitNesse

Develop quality assurance and testing strategies
Execute test scripts in accordance with the test plans
Verify and document test results utilizing testing tools and utilities
Provide first level support of the testing tools and testing environment
Configure and support testing automation tools
Work with other IS teams and members in the project life cycle
