Agile Leadership will explore the emergent definition(s) needed to describe leadership in Agile frames. Empirically driven, the goal of this forum is to be a marketplace of ideas and experience, tension, and probably some humor over what is a leader in a workframe that extols self organization.
Practitioners, Trainers, Coaches, and others who face the dilemma of leadership and/or management in Agile work are invited to join the conversation.
One tool the group will use is Complexity Theory as it provides a common point of discussion regarding the role and contributions leadership type(s) make in moving issues from chaos to simplicity, and how leadership transverses the ambiguity and complexity we all face. To create the appropriate tension, systems theory will also be used to provide an equally viable and far more popular way of looking at leadership.
Everyone who signs up for this group is encouraged to introduce themselves by presenting their thoughts on the differences between leadership and management in Agile organizations.
