IT Careers and Job Prospects Round Table
In today's job market there are a lot of questions, and IT is no
exception. With the Internet bust moving into the post 9/11 and
Enron business climate, IT has to justify itself more than ever.
What is the best strategy for not only surviving the current times,
but continuing to build a lasting and rewarding career? What
technologies are in demand now and will be in the near future? What
additional skills or attitudes will help us achieve our goals?
Frank Sucharski built a successful consulting business by
anticipating and providing for the needs of many area businesses.
Join us as we discuss the state of our local job market and where
the future of IT lies in this area.
The format of this month's AITP Meeting will be a Round Table
discussion staffed by the current Officers and Board of Directors of
the Philadlephia Chapter of AITP. The Topic will be "The Current
State and Future Outlook of the IT Employment Market". If you are
currently employed, we would like to hear from you about your
organization's current status, be it in a growth, survival or
declining mode. If you are (or you can bring someone who is)
currently unemployed, this just may be the next step in solving your
unemployment situation. If you are a student, you might want to
hear what the market is holding for you at this time. We promise you
honest answers,
animnated discussions and qualified opinions on the topic. This is
a meeting you will not want to miss.
