Hi
When I telephoned Alan he said the next standby group meeting was
being held on the 2nd weekend of December. So that's Saturday 8th and
Sunday 9th December. I've been to a couple of standby meetings and
although I'm not a proper standby team member yet I found them very
interesting. It's a good place to discuss your ideas about cryonics
etc. There's also a practical side talking about stabilization
protocols, trying out some of the equipment etc.
Normally Alan has an "open door" policy for the weekend so that you
can come along when you like. People normally start turning up
Saturday morning.
The meeting is being held at the home of Alan & Sylvia Sinclair:
4 Mount Caburn Crescent,
Peacehaven,
East Sussex,
BN10 8DW
(01273) 587660
I'm staying at the Newhaven lodge (www.newhavenlodge.co.uk)
at Newhaven near to Peacehaven. The landlady there is really nice,
but she admits the concept of cryonics gives her the creeps! :-)
Hopefully see you then!
Mark Willis
