Hello Everyone:

First: My apologies as I haven't been that active moderating the group
which led to plenty of spam as you must have experienced. Despite that
I made sure that those who join the group join for the purpose that's
aligned with the group goals, yet spam has found its way. Anyways
'spam' happens.

Second: I've had the chance to attend EGJUG first meeting and it was
great. The group (through its active moderators) were able to fulfill
an old dream of mine; Establishing a face-to-face regular meetings
among members, something that we failed to accomplish if you remember.

Third: I encourage everyone of you to join EGJUG. EGJUG and AlexJUG
aren't mutually exclusive, but, on the contrary, the two groups could
promote each other's activities.

Fourth: EGJUG will be looking in the coming period for speakers to
present different topics in the group's monthly meetings. I would be
happy to listen to your suggestions in this regard. If you know anyone
who's interested in presenting Java-related technology / architecture
/ solution / framework / etc... please contact me.
