By the time this day is over, we would be half way through the International
Year of Astronomy, an event which many of us have been looking forward to and
planning since the past five years.
 
Six months would soon be over. We had several events which got the list members
and their groups excited. We also have a few events which a majority are looking
forward to. This could be the time for a short review of the events that had
unfolded in the past few months and try to over come hurdles and shortcoming if
any, to make the next half of IYA2009 a far better one.
