GROUP INTRODUCTION/RULES: Read Thoroughly

Hello and welcome to Amateur Astronomy Online. My name is Buddy Friedel and I would like to welcome you to one of the largest amateur astronomy clubs on the net! We are now listed at BestDiscussionGroups.com as one of the best amateur astronomy sites on Yahoo! Groups. :-)
I welcome all new members with various points of view but SPAM and off-topic rants will NOT be tolerated! Therefore, all message posts from new members are initially screened by me for your protection. After initial approval, all subsequent messages will post immediately. Violators will have their posting rights reset to 'Moderated' or Terminated. Please make sure the email address you use to sign up here remains ACTIVE.Emails that go inactive bounce messages back to the group.I must then assume you are no longer active and your membership here will be DELETED.
I encourage ALL our members to be proactive so please try to post regularly and let the group know how your observing, mirror grinding, etc. is going. This is NOT a blog by me so join ONLY if you are a genuine enthusiast. It is proper group etiquette to introduce yourself to the group after membership approval and you are STRONNGLY urged to do so.Please be patient while waiting for message approval and clear skies to all.
