Re: [ambiloop] Re: Bugs & Mods Wishes

Thanks for the beta8 fixes!!!

My own two cents on mods: keep the core ambioloop program as focused and clean as possible. Even pruning out anything that is not core looping functionality seems like would make the program more powerful i.e. maybe something like having all effects as selectable options or move them to plugin format like VSTs. I would love to be able to use my own VST collection with ambiloop and assign different VST combinations to tracks and be able to pull up different configurations as a session file. But, it might be that plugins actually make the whole thing more complex and messy from a coding standpoint...

Chris what do you think about the use of VSTs or other plugin's in ambiloop rather than fixed effects?

Aside from an autotrigger, a looping feature that would be handy would be to be able to switch between the A/B sumbixes with a mapped key command. Currently I can switch from submix A to B if I do a 'submix crossfade' key-map, but then I can't switch back to submix A with key control. Also with the 'submix A/B volume' key command, it only turns them off. It would be handy if that key command could toggle the fader-volume for either submix A or B off then back on. Same with the crossfade key-command so that it could repeatedly switch between A and B submixes being inversely on or off.

THANKS!!

Peter

PS oh and maybe making the interface scalable or maximally 600pixels tall so it will fit on a netbook, like a eee1000h, screen . . .

Thanks for the suggestions Peter. Adding the submix volume and crossfade toggles should be straightforward, I will put them on the feature wish list....
