My April newsletter, http://www.ddj.com/architect/207401013?cid=Ambysoft ,
summarizes results from a January 2008 survey that we did at Dr. Dobb's Journal.
The newsletter explores the preferences of people and the organizations that
they work in for repeatable processes vs. repeatable results. With the
exception of project managers there is a clear personal preference for
repeatable results across all role categories. People working in Agile-only
organizations have a greater preference for results, as does the organization
itself, compared with traditional-only organizations. This may be one factor
which explains the higher success rates that we see in the agile community.
Hope you like the article.
