A common question that I often get is how do you do globally distributed
development (GDD) in an agile manner. I keynoted on this topic at Software
Development Best Practices in Boston in the Autumn of 2007 and the recording of

keynote was an hour long and I talk about how outsourcing and global development
is affecting the IT professional, how there is a global IT skill shortage, and
most important how to be successful at GDD and better yet how to do so in an
agile manner.
