Could you please consider filling out the November 2011 Agile State of the Art survey by myself and Paul Gorans at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/M7VQDQN. There are 18 questions on 6 pages, although you may not be asked all questions. The survey should take less than 5 minutes to fill out. Thank you very much for investing your valuable time.
To potentially reward you, we'll be drawing 10 respondents, each of whom will be given their choice of one of three books:
1. The Economics of Software Quality by Capers Jones and Olivier Bonsignour
2. Agile Analytics by Ken Collier
3. The Clean Coder by Robert C. Martin
The draw is of course optional, you don't have to share your email with us (we won't use your email for anything other than this draw).
This is an open survey, so the source data (without identifying information to protect your privacy), a summary slide deck, and the original source questions will be posted at http://www.ambysoft.com/surveys/ so that others may analyze the data for their own purposes. Data from previous surveys have been used by university students and professors for their research papers, and hopefully the same will be true of the data from this survey. The results from several other surveys are already posted there, so please feel free to take advantage of this resource.
I will also summarize results from this survey in my agility@scale blog on IBM Developerworks.
