I do like to use my amiga 4000 for email like simplemail but dont do so
often.

Palms i do use regularly as my phone treo 680 and pda TX with Wifi.
You can TX quite cheap now and install opera on them for a reasonable mobile
web browsing experience.

I havent synced my palm with the amiga since i had the serial port palm 3x
only sync with w2k and xp pro.
