Hello!
I just noticed I used to be on this list back in the past so let's see
if this works:
I don't know if you know the Amiga demoscene archives on the net,
Bitworld (http://bitworld.bitfellas.org) and AMP (http://amp.dascene.net)
the intent of which is to gather Amiga demos, packs and music (demoscene
productions basically). Check them out if you haven't seen your old
productions for a while! :-)
What I ask of you is, if you perhaps still have some old Amiga disks
about, containing demoscene productions - or maybe a hard drive with
some modules, disk images etc., is that you submit it in some form to
the demoscene archives mentioned. Time is essential here - floppy disks
and old (x)xx megabyte harddrives are already way past their
"best before" date.
If you don't have a working Amiga anymore or don't have the time or the
hardware to transfer the data, we can help if you send the disks or hard drives
to us - we have representatives in Denmark, Norway, France and Germany,
possibly in other countries too. So your best bet would probably be to send
stuff as locally as possible.
If you have already stored your disks as images in dms or adf format, you can
of course upload them to ftp.amigascne.org - and leave a little textfile
or something so that we can see that you're the uploader.
If you are a scene musician, you should also answer the interview form
available at AMP.
It may seem that Bitworld or AMP contains more or less everything ever
released on the Amiga scene. But after working with it for a while, I
believe almost everyone have a little something to add to the archive -
so if you still have contact with some of your old friends, pass on the
message, eh? :-)
Hope you can - and will - help
it's for the benefit of the scene, remember?
scene regards
Frank E. Larsen a.k.a.

Dedicated to Kick Off 2, I thought I'd share with you the very latest
version of The Aftertouch.
Definetly a labour of love by the fans for all people who love to keep
that retro flame burning alive.
In this addition we reveal what Kick Off fans have been getting upto
for the past 15 years or so with an article on the world famous
'Competition Version'. Also, we chat with the host of the 2008 World
Cup along with some of the victors from last year.
Finally, this magazine represents the synergy of those who attend
tournaments, those that love to take part and those who hopefully will
be encouraged to host their own - anything and everything you need to
know to host your own tournament is included in this publication.
What are you waiting for? Even if you have a mere passing interest in
all things retro then download today!

Just to let you all know that the 2008 Kick Off 2 UK Championships is
now a 1 day event.
We have found a great location in the Holiday Inn which is just off
Junction 2 of the M5.
There'l be free Tea and Coffee plus a pub right next door to have a
few drinks if you so desire. But more importantly there'l be old retro
Amiga's with Kick Off 2.
Dont forget that this is the only major Kick Off tournament in the UK
this year! After this there will not be another. So it's a great time
to see what this retro tournament is all about.

Is there any love for this game? I rememeber when the original Kick
Off came out...what a breath of fresh air! (I only had Kenny
Dalglish's soccer match before that! lol).
But Kick Off 2 and Player Manager was stunning games! ahhh, the
rivalries between this and Sensible Soccer eh?
If truth be told I gravitated over to SWOS because thats where the
newer updates were coming from, but last year I found out that people
still play Kick Off 2!
www.ko-gathering.com
They'v also ironed out some of the more stupid bugs, whilst still
keeping the classic playability. Not sure if its nostalgia, but
playing this with its fast pace and lush green pitch...I dunno, newer
games just leave me cold!
As I said, I only joined the forum last year but already I'v made a
load of friends. I'v even attended a few tournaments - mostly in
Birmingham and Reading area.
Would be great if some fans are here so we can talk about the classic
game. Its even possible to have a 2 player online, but local
tournaments round peoples houses are where the actions at. Pizza,
Booze and Excitement - there's even an online rankings system in
place, so if you ever fancied yourself the No.1 KO2 player...well, now
is your chance to actually prove it.
Dont hesitate to go on the site above...in Birmingham on 3rd to 4th
May, there's even a huge UK Championship where people from every year
of the UK will be converging to play not to mention the World Cup that
takes place every year :)
This campaign is about Human beings, Democracy, UNHCR, Refugees, The Iraqis,
Islam, Kurds, Human rights, Respect, Money, Donations, Angelina Jolie,
Pavarotti, Giorgio Armani, Donors, Peace, History, Campaigns and about you if
you care about these words.
Hi there,
I am SAM, an Iraqi refugee living in Lebanon at the moment; I have spent the
last 10 years of my life as a refugee registered with the UNHCR in Beirut. The
last 4 years, I have spent as an activist for peace and human rights (especially
refugees and asylum seekers) on the Internet; I'm also books author and ebooks
publisher. I have launched many campaigns to improve our situation as refugees
in Lebanon and hopefully bring more understanding to our problems worldwide. I
helped make many changes and improvements at the UNHCR office in Beirut; I used
the Internet as the field for my activities (you can read more about that in my
free ebook 'MY CAMPAIGNS'). All my ebooks are free and could be download from my
sites.
This is my newest campaign, it's about the illegal and humiliating actions of
the UNHCR, who using photos of refugees as banners and human-buttons to collect
money. This is an abuse of the dignity and humanity of the refugees and must
stop immediately and a clear public apology present by The United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees. My friends, I am talking about the pictures you can
see here: http://www.tbns.net/lebanon2/human-buttons.htm
Also you can read my new campaign 'Urgent, we need smile' here:
http://lebanon.fateback.com/smile.html
For more info about UNHCR and life of refugees you can read my free ebooks. I
invite you as fellow humans and members of the world community to support my
campaign by reading my article on my site and see the human-buttons. The
campaign is to support and improve the UNHCR http://www.unhcr.org especially
after the last scandals in the UN and UNHCR, just for example:

"We make demonstration and fast because the UNHCR office in Cairo did nothing
for our problem..." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4440730.stm
Together we will build better world.
You could reach me fast via this form: http://unhcrlebanon.reco.ws/email_me.htm
and if you like to know more about me, you can google for my name 'osam

Hi Ken!
Nice to know you are still hanging about. Any chance you can get on the
ellesdee forum?
http://forums.ellesdee.org
It's getting busy these days and there always seem to be a few people
logged in all the time so well worth a visit!
Up to you though, this mailing list is about dead in comparison.
