I am afraid that my [[AmiloA]] [[Laptop]]'s [[HardDisk]] died on
20080929...

It makes a strange (different) sound when the computer is switched on,
the bios does not see it and wont boot...

I have put a sound file if curious at :

Anyone got a similar issue ?
Any ideas on how to rescue it or recover data is welcome

I remeber I used to use grub to load a kernel on my external disk, but
I requiered to be installed on 1st drive (which is dead now)
