Hi all,

I have an Amilo A 7600 (bought Dec 2002), 1600+ AMD Athlon chip, 10GB
HD and 256K RAM. Currently I am running XP. I want to upgrade the
existing hardware and run Open Suse Linux 10.3 on this platform. From
the manual it seems that 1GB is the max memory I can use on this
laptop (though am thinking of using 256+512). Any ideas on replacement
HDs and constraints with the motherboard, e.g. I was thinking of
replacing the existing HD with a 80GB drive. Is that possible? If so
how easy is it to do this oneself?

On a related note, am also looking to run XP and Suse Linux on the
same platform. Any comments on the cleanest way to do this would also
be appreciated, thanks.
