At the next International Numismatic Congress in Madrid, Andrew Meadows
of the British Museum and I are planning a round-table session entitled
"The Future of Web Databases for Numismatic Study."

I suspect that some people on this list will be attending the
conference so that I am attaching a very preliminary document that
lays out one potential avenue for broad international collaboration. It
is a non-technical introduction to some of the the issues that we hope
to address in Madrid and is intended to stimulate discussion.

We welcome comments from people planning to attend and from others.

Also, please forward this message to anyone whom you think might find
