Some members of this group should know about the Mellon Scholarships for younger
Ph.D. scholars from nine central and eastern European nations, Estonia to
Bulgaria, for humanistic and social science research at one of 17 different
institutions in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and South Asia. There
are three fellowships at each institution. These are major institutions, many
with a record of support of serious numismatic research.
